A place where Colorado Rockies baseball card collectors (all 3 of us) can waste some time reading about our favorite sport. The Rockies and their cards will be the primary focus, but I like to go off on tangents as well so anything and everything baseball related may be covered here.

2012 Quarry Unlimited - #10 Toronto Blue Jays Part 1

As we get to #10 on the countdown, I must point out that this is the beginning of the "apathy third."  This isn't to say that the middle third is just randomly assigned numbers.  I feel a different level of apathy toward each team.  The Blue Jays are a weird team.  When I first started following baseball, I was indoctrinated with patriotism so to my nine year old mind the villains in the league were the Expos and the Blue Jays.  Then as I became older, I realized Canada wasn't part of the "Iron Curtain Gang," and I no longer hated the Canadian teams.  Now with the Jays as the last Canadian team standing, I really don't care one way or the other.  However, they are still an AL East team that is capable of keeping the Yankees and Red Sox out of the playoffs, so they are a bit higher on my apathy scale.  Let's take a look at the first half of the 55 different 2012 Toronto Blue Jays.

If I were a Blue Jays fan...

Title of the blog - It'll Always be Skydome to Me

Favorite Player (current) - Omar Vizquel

Favorite Player (all time) - Lloyd Moseby (I already used Fred McGriff for the Rays)

Least Favorite Player (current) - Yunel Escobar

Least Favorite Player (all time) - Roger Clemens

2012 Toronto Blue Jays Total Cards = 55

I will close today's post by asking one question.  Now that Toronto has acquired J.A. Happ, can he possibly change the spelling of his first name to Jay instead of the annoying J.A.?

Thanx for reading.

Looking at the Jays, I just realized you already need a traded set!
