A place where Colorado Rockies baseball card collectors (all 3 of us) can waste some time reading about our favorite sport. The Rockies and their cards will be the primary focus, but I like to go off on tangents as well so anything and everything baseball related may be covered here.

2014 Quarry Unlimited - #6 Minnesota Twins Part 2

YELLOW

ROOKIE PROSPECTS

My Top 5 Twins Cards
1. Aaron Hicks (purple)
2. Josmil Pinto (blue)
3. Jason Bartlett (yellow)
4. Kevin Correia (red)
5. Danny Santana (yellow)

The Twins were relatively boring this year, but there were a couple that stood out above the rest.  While some diving catch cards are starting to become cliche, the in-your-face ones with the fielder coming right at the camera are still pretty cool.  The Pinto is a somewhat mundane pop up, but the camera angle is what makes it memorable.  It makes the stretch looks so much more impressive.  The Bartlett is interesting because of the design .  His foot and hand placement work perfectly to bisect the inner box on the 88 Score design diagonally.  The Correia is all about the throwback uniform.  This is what the Twins should always look like.  There really wasn't a Twins card that I really felt deserved recognition as #5, but I went with Santana simply because I absolutely love the blue Rookie Cup.

Coming Monday - #7 Tampa Bay Rays

Thanx for reading.
