A place where Colorado Rockies baseball card collectors (all 3 of us) can waste some time reading about our favorite sport. The Rockies and their cards will be the primary focus, but I like to go off on tangents as well so anything and everything baseball related may be covered here.

2014 Quarry Unlimited - #29 Los Angeles Dodgers Part 1

I have done the Quarry Unlimited countdown and will have had different least favorite team each year.  I don't really know what that says about me, but it seems strange.   Last year's bottom team checks in today, but it's not because I like them more than I did.  It's because the #30 team finally decided to move to the only place hotter than Arizona...Hell.  But I will vent about them in a couple of days.  For now let's talk about the usual team on the bottom.

The Dodgers did their usual thing:  spending a lot of money, winning the division, and then flopping in the playoffs.  I think the Dodgers are rapidly becoming the second favorite team of Cardinals fans.  For the second straight year, the Cardinals dispatched the Dodgers in the playoffs.  I guess that proves that Clayton Kershaw can't really do it all.  Maybe the MVP should have to play in more than 17% of his team's games.  But I don't want to get into a whole thing about that.  I'll just say Kershaw had a good year and move on.

I agree with your #30 team -- it'll be interesting to see if they end up there on my team ranking.

Of course you're very misguided putting the Dodgers at #29 but I do enjoy the Hanley card. And there's a couple players in there I had no idea played for the Dodgers.
