I'm going to keep the opening short today due to the sheer amount of cards to show off. Here is Part 2 of the #6 team, the Baltimore Orioles.
1. Lew Ford
2. Nick Johnson
3. Matt Wieters
4. Steve Tolleson
5. Darren O'Day
I explained yesterday why I like Lew Ford as a player, but the card is good too. No photo says 1986 Topps more than a good batting cage shot. Nick Johnson takes spot #2 for one reason alone, the pink cleats. I assume they were worn for Mother's Day and weren't an everyday piece of equipment for him. Matt Wieters grabs the #3 spot basically because now I know what he looks like. I don't follow the O's that closely, so I honestly never really knew what he looked like because of his not having a Topps contract. Steve Tolleson's card is one of the few fielding shots for the O's and is the classic "jumping over a sliding runner at second" pose. It's still good. Finally, I like the Darren O'Day for the interesting pitching delivery. Pitcher cards tend to all look the same after a while, so any type of different delivery catches my eye.
I'll be back on Monday with the #7 team on my countdown.
Thanx for reading.

Lot of great looking customs in these last 2 posts. I would have to say may favorites are Thome, Strop, Hardy, Chen and Matusz. All of them are awesome though!
