At #27, we have the current World Series champions after they fell 3 spots down my likability list. To be honest, one reason they fell down the list is due to jealousy. If your team doesn't win the World Series, then it is only natural for you to dislike the team that did a little more. Another reason for their tumble is the addition of Shane Victorino, the Cryin' Hawaiian. He is rapidly becoming my least favorite current player, but don't worry "The Bearded Douche" Brian Wilson is still safely ensconced in that position. The biggest reason that the Red Sox slid though is their lack of accountability for their mistakes. If most teams made even half the financial mistakes that Boston made, they would be basement dwellers for a decade. The Red Sox got one year before their checkbook and their sugar daddy (the Dodgers) bought them out of trouble. Yes it is the way that the world works, but that doesn't make me feel any better about it. I like it when people have equally pay for their mistakes and that is just not the case here. The rich teams have different rules than the Royals and Rockies of the world. Some people would say that is jealousy as well, but I would have serious reservations about continuing to root for my team if they were rewarded in the same way as the Red Sox. It doesn't bother some people, and that's fine for them, but it does bother me. Let's take a look at some trivia for the 2013 World Series Champions.
